The Tropical Storm, bringing much needed rain, choose 14 miles South of the city for the eye to pass! That means a lot of rain...9 inches and climbing here at Rancho Relaxo ..but that's cool.
What's not is the power going out every 10 minutes and you're trying to trade! What the hell. Joanie is fixing her famous ribs and we've got one of those wind up AM/FM radios..Joanie says the longer you crank..the easier it is to turn..less resistance..now that is cool.
You get about 20 to 30 minutes of listening pleasure. It's brand is INNOVAGE..a cheapie, but it works! Next on the list: a good generator!

Seems Dragon and Yahoo are not getting along...
Will not accept my voice, commands etc...
I've been told they are suddenly incompatible... anyone
having these problems?
Also, it won't let me increase my correction archive...
any ideas?

Bryan came home from the hospital with a picc line on 8/20. I have been giving him vancomyacin every 12 hours and I think it's menopremen ..something like that every 8 hours. Well, this a.m. I flushed his line with saline, hooked up the vanco, twice cuz there were 2 syringes for the dose. I noticed there was a little bit of light blood on the gauze around the entry site of the line.I was concerned, thought maybe some was from the night before..looked kinda wet...so I changed the dressing. Then I injected the other syringe of saline before I started the Meno dose and I could actually SEE the gauze getting wetter with a little blood as I squirted it in. I said something's wrong Bryan! I went looking on line and came to the conclusion that there was a blockage in the line, and after conferring with Bryan, he said I should just pull the picc line out as we only had 3 more days of meds left and it would have to come out anyway if it is blocked....SO I DID...I carefully pulled out the picc line.I had read that I should compare the length to what was inserted so I called the hospital that put it in and they said they wouldn't know until Tuesday when the people in medical records were back to work after the holiday!!! The end of the line looked a little "crusty" to me. So I worried that something might have broken off of it. This was all this am...then tonite I went over to do bowel care and he told me his aid from this afternoon noticed that the area on his abdomen, which has thin skin from a surgery he had shortly after the accident, it was red and blotchy. I am concerned that the high powered antibiotic vancomyacin, is roaming around in his body eating him up inside!!:( One question I have about the picc line..what is the end supposed to look like..It kinda tugged and then gave way when I was pulling it so made me worry the end might still be in there. ANy ideas, answers, suggestions?

Anybody driving the big ones have a preference for lifts, modification Co., etc. I'll likely buy something a couple of years old with a lowered floor, but want some feedback on who is good, bad or indifferent.
I like to travel the road less taken, and lowered floor mini vans just don't have much clearance. Plus We can catch some sleep in a full size van, if need be. No space to stretch out in a mini.
Was hoping the Ford Transit would be a good compromise, but I can't see them being modified for driving from a W/C anytime soon. The Mv-1 http://www.vpgautos.com/features/vehicle-specs/ has space issues like a mini van and is just too new to be reliable. Besides it is fugly!

I wanna start a random picture thread... It's based on a similar thread on another forum I go to on occasion and it's pretty fun... You can also post YouTube videos, animated GIFs, etc., as long it's visual and not text... I'm sure all of you have come across something so odd or funny you just had to share, well this is the thread to post it!...
Rules:
1) Pictures should be bizzare, strange, funny, weird, cute, etc...
2) Pictures are to have no explanation or stories attached (unless in the form of captioning)...
3) Responses to pictures are to be limited to one reaction (LOL, ewww, OMFG, emoticon, etc.) or sentence... Although relatable/response pics are allowed and encouraged.. This is meant to be a PICTURE thread, not a discussion thread...
