.... I may get this computer as it has all the software that I want BUT I don't know about the specs?? Here,,, Processor: NEW AMD Athlon X2 2.4GHz
Motherboard: NEW MSI K9VGM-V MS-7253
Memory: NEW 2GB Ram (2GB 240-Pin DDR2)
Hard Drive: NEW Western Digital 500GB 7200 RPM 16 MB Cache
Video Card: NEW 7300gt (512 MB)
DVD-Rom: NEW 20X DVD-RW, DVD+RW, CD-RW, CD+RW
Case:Nice Black case ( new with an awesome look)
Operating System:Genuine Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit
It looks like I won't be able to add ram?? or since it is dual core, will I? 450 bucks. Master collection adobe cs4.... this doesn't have the license but hey, it's only 450$.
.... it looks good to me but I am not a geek. I have much respect for the geeky folks..lol. Any ideas about this would be great AND the sooner the better... thanks. ,,,joe..

I'm not a tech head like some of our resident experts, but that's impressive..I'd go with the iMac on the right!
I'm partial to this iMac Snow Leopard we loaded a few weeks back. I have no idea what the specs are. It's just a matter of opening the rascal up, snap a photo and post it for you.
I'll say this, there's been nothing it can't handle. Your beauty there in a Mac format would be neat!

Ya,, I am soo fickle about getting a update computer. I think that I will take advantage of the glut on the market of macs and get one of them. I have read alot about them and am not as scared of going mac. Never had one OR been around one before,, so, I am understandingly shy. There are many good macs for sale on ebay now. Buyers market now,,, I think. This one that I showed, isn't as good as I thought after looking and searching the alleys of ebay,,, even pc's with the software that I need.... but I'm thinking macbook or macbook pro.... or an imac. Whats the matter Bert,, don't know about this crap?....lol. I didn't either,, then I read! I do now. ,,,joe..

I looked up the specs on the motherboard. This machine isn't much more than your basic office PC. Will run Office aps, and spreadsheets, but wasn't really meant to do high end computer art etc. The board will only support 2GB's of DDr2 Ram. With Windows Ultimate 64 It's a good start, but depending on the software demands you'd want at least 4GB of Ram
It's not a bad deal overall with the software bundle. If you were comfortable doing a motherboard swap you could easily put in a more recent MSI board using the current Athlon processor and adding 2 more GB's of Ram. As it sits it would be an ideal secretaries computer, or news paper putting together the evening news to print. That's only because of the limitations of the 2GB's RAM it can't exceed.
