LOL, I've been reading Sinfest off and on for years. He makes lots of interesting contrasts between religions in a very humorous way.

I didn't draw it... Might have if I had thought of it, but it would look completly different...
I have a website now with a small sample of my work: inkblister.com...
Please bear in mind it's still under construction, so it's pretty sparse at the moment...
Paulwa, hope the comic didn't upset you... just my attempt at a friendly jab...

Nice work and small world, Inkblister. My sister and BIL live just 25 miles west of you in Hammond, my niece did her student teaching in Menomonie, and I know Dan Wahl, the superintendent of schools there.

Ha-ha... Cool ghoti!... If you're ever in the area, don't be shy about stopping by the studio to say "Hi!"...
BTW, where did you pick up the name "ghoti"?... Just wondering because I did a comic strip called "The Chronicles of Ghoti" in the late 80's for a local magazine... Never seen the name used anywhere else...

It came from George Bernard Shaw as an example of the absurdity of the English language. You pronounce the "gh" that same as you would in "enouGH",, the "o" as it is in "wOmen", and the "ti" as in "ambiTIon". You end up with the object of one of my favorite sports.
ETA: We get down to visit my sister a couple of times each year. If we're going by your way I'll let you know. Be neat to meet you.

Nope, no offense taken Inkblister. I haven't read comics in years and am totally unfamiliar with this series. Nice tattoo art. Guess I lack inking skills myself and the lead pencil is my point of reference. :-) Paul

Just a note, the televar.com email has been dead for years.Nice work on your websiyte inkblister. Very well executed. But never had a tattoo in my life and probably never will. I've never understood the wanting of a tattoo by anyone. Look around everywhere today, though and everyone is sporting a tattoo. Tattoo artists probably earn a better living than most artists. :-) Paul

Thank you Paulwa... No need for a tattoo if you feel no need for one Paulwa... I see it purely as a personal choice... There are many reasons why someone would want one though...
Many people don't realize that tattoos are actually the second oldest artform known to man after graffitti (cave wall paintings)... Arceologists unearthered a man frozen in the italian alps estimated to be 50,000 years old and found he was covered in small tattoo designs all over his body... pretty cool (pun intended)...
As far as us making a better living, its all relative... I myself do okay, I make enough for rent, bills, and keep food on the table, but not much beyond that... If I were in a larger city I could be charging probably twice what I do in the small town I live in now, but then my cost of living would go up as well...
